Youth Mentoring & Scholarship Programs

Youth Mentor Program

Young people involved in agriculture are a key part of the Florida Ag Hall of Fame banquet. Every year, the Hall of Fame’s Youth Mentor Program provides a selected group of students with an opportunity to see agriculture’s rich heritage and to glance into its future.

Financial support from the agricultural community provides a place at each table during the banquet for students to get to know some of the industry’s leaders. Before the banquet, the students get to meet and hear from a Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame inductee, and the recipients of the Youth Scholarships are announced.
